Women's Volleyball Signs Three to 2025 Roster

Kansas City, Mo.

During their Fall 2024 Recruit Weekend, Calvary University Women's Volleyball signed three players to their 2025-2026 roster. Anna Watson, Eden Rodriguez, and Miah Steward will join the volleyball team for the program's third season with Coach Wilkes.

Watson, a transfer student from Kankakee Community College in Illinois, will join the roster as a setter, coming with good experience from her time at the JUCO level. Anna went to high school with current player Angelina Larsen, and we are looking forward to seeing them play together again! "Anna will bring maturity and skill to our program," says head coach Jojo Wilkes. "She is a resilient athlete, and I can't wait to see all that she brings to the table this season."

Rodriguez is from Decatur, Texas, north of Dallas-Fort Worth. Eden will graduate this spring and joins the roster as a setter. "Eden brings athleticism and drive as a player. She works incredibly hard and wants to achieve excellence through her play," says Wilkes.

Steward, also from Texas in the San Antonio area, will also join as a freshman after graduation in the spring. Miah joins the roster as an outside hitter. "Miah has already grown so much as an athlete in the short time that I have known her," says Wilkes, "so I have no doubt that she has more room for growth as she goes into her freshman season."

All of these women are incredible additions to the volleyball program. We are excited to welcome the first three of the Women's Volleyball 2025 Recruit Class!
