Calvary University Volleyball Climbs to #4 in National Rankings After Strong Two-Week Stretch
Calvary University Women’s Volleyball has jumped to #4 in the nation in the NCCAA DII Coaches' Poll released on October 6, following a strong two-week run that saw the Warriors go 4-2, losing only to NAIA Cottey College and NCCAA DII #1 ranked Manhattan Christian College.
After a tough stretch that tested their consistency, Calvary responded with renewed focus and energy, earning key wins that moved them higher in the national conversation. The Warriors showcased depth across their roster, combining powerful offense with disciplined defense to secure victories and reestablish momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
Head Coach Jojo Wilkes praised the team’s resilience and growth: “We’ve been emphasizing composure and execution in big moments. The girls are starting to trust each other as teammates and play with confidence, and it’s paying off.”
Calvary’s rise to #4 reflects both their strong overall record and their ability to compete with top programs in the division. The team continues to build on its early-season success and remains a serious contender for postseason play.
The Warriors will look to carry their momentum into upcoming conference matchups as they aim to climb even higher in the rankings. They take on #8 ranked Ozark Christian College tomorrow on the road in Joplin, MO.
