Four players scored in double figures as the Calvary University Warriors defeated the Emmaus Bible College Eagles 93-91 on Wednesday night in the first round of the North Regional Tournament.
Jonah Murr led the Warriors with 38 points and 15 rebounds. Jamal Smith added 14 points and five boards, while Cedric Maxwell contributed another 12 points and three assists. The biggest basket of the night came from Kevon Williams as he broke the 91-91 tie with 3.5 seconds to go in overtime. He received the ball at the free throw line, turned and buried the biggest jumps shot of the season to catapult the Warriors into the quarter-final game tomorrow at 5 pm vs. Crown College.
