KANSAS CITY, MO – December 8, 2017 – Scoring only 7 points in the third quarter, the Lady Warriors lost a promising game to Rhema Bible College 82-51.
Calvary has struggled offensively all season, averaging about 45 points per game. In the first quarter they scored almost half their season average at 20 points, but Rhema also was shooting well, and won the first quarter by 1 point. Calvary started getting cold in the second quarter, but at halftime the Lady Warriors were only down by 8 points. In the third quarter, Rhema outscored the Warriors 28-7 giving them a 29 point lead that they would carry throughout the rest of the contest.
The Lady Warriors improved in their scoring, shooting almost 33% from the field. However, 36 Warrior turnovers led to 34 points for the Lady Eagles. Alyssa Krestan once again led the Warriors with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Rilee Walquist chipped in 16 points and 4 assists.
The Lady Warriors will not return to the court until January 6 when the travel to Rhema to take on the Lady Eagles again.
