Calvary University Men’s Soccer took on Ozark Christian College at home on Tuesday afternoon. The game was closely contested, but the end result was a 3-1 loss for the Warriors. Ozark Christian College had a strong start to the game, scoring their first goal in the 11th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Warriors responded well to Ozarks goal with Noah Wittenbach scoring a goal off an assist from Oscar Palafox. The game went into halftime tied 1-1. Although the Warriors opened the second half strong by creating many scoring opportunities, they were unable to capitalize on those opportunities. Ozark was able to score two more goals before the end of the game to win it 3-1.
The Warriors will next take on Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri on October 5th.
