The Warriors dropped their consolation bracket game in the 2023 MCCC Conference Tournament today. They fell 87-94 against Barclay College. Three players scored in double digits this afternoon, with Junior Jonah Murr leading the way with a 45-point performance. The 45 points is the second highest scoring game by any Calvary player in school history. As the two teams tipped off against each other it was close throughout. The Warriors played good defense in the first half holding the Bears to 13/37 from the field. At the half Calvary was only down one 37-38. In the second half the Warriors fought to close the deficit and ended up taking a ten-point lead. Barclay then had a terrific run with ten minutes to play and ended up taking the lead back for good with hot shooting. Jonah Murr, Jamal Smith, and Kevon Williams each continued to push things offensively for the Warriors but it wasn’t enough as they fell in a tough loss 87-94.
