The Calvary Men’s Basketball coaching staff is pleased to announce the singing of AJ Bordallo, a 5’8″ point guard from San Antonio, Texas. Bordallo is their first recruit for the 2018-19 season, and signed in April
“We are so pumped to have a point guard like AJ,” said head coach Matt Sanders. “When Assistant coach Parker saw him, he said we have to have this guy. Man was he right. AJ is a humble, hungry, and incredible young man. His tools on the court are going to be a great addition to our team, and his character, and his heart for Christ are going to be an excellent addition to our team and program.”
A dynamic player, Bordallo averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists, and 5 steals in his senior season with the Nova Wolfpack. In addition, he was awarded 5 all-tournament, 1 honorable mention, and 1 Christian character awards during his high school career.
AJ will be studying Business Administration: Management during his time at CU. He chose Calvary because he said “the culture and atmosphere is enriched in the Word of God, and I loved that about Calvary.”
