JoJo Wilkes

Coach Jojo Wilkes joined Calvary University in 2023 as head coach for the CU Warriors women’s volleyball team. In 2024, Jojo was added to the athletic staff as the Sports Information Director, as she has also managed the Warriors social media from the beginning of her time at Calvary. Wilkes previously worked as an women’s volleyball team as a volunteer assistant coach for Spurgeon College in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to her time at Spurgeon, she coached five years in middle school, high school, and club programs.

In her first year as the head coach at Calvary, Wilkes brought the team to its first ever NCCAA DII Nationals appearance. Jojo herself played in the NCCAA DII and the MCCC for Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa (2012-2015). In her years of collegiate volleyball, Wilkes earned many accolades within the NCCAA DII and MCCC, including All-Region First Team in 2013, All-Region First Team in 2014, All-Conference First Team in 2014, All-American Second Team in 2014, and All-Region Libero of the Year in 2015. 

Wilkes earned a BS in Secondary English Education with a Coaching Endorsement from Faith Baptist Bible College in 2016. 

Jojo is married to Mr. Marcus Wilkes, a golf coach in the Kansas City area. They have three children: Addie (3), Cohen (2), and KJ (infant).
