I love Calvary volleyball because, even though we all come from different backgrounds and levels of experience in volleyball, we still are given a chance to play a college sport and work hard to play at a higher level of volleyball. Most importantly there is also an emphasis on having a strong walk and relationship with God because, while that is way more important than college volleyball for four years, a walk with the Lord will last forever and ever!

Something that I love about volleyball at Calvary is that it is so much bigger than just me. Yes, volleyball is a team sport, but Calvary not only has a community within the team, but also within the school. The entire atmosphere of Calvary University desires to glorify God, and it is a tremendous blessing to get to be a part of that.

I like the atmosphere that the team creates. I enjoy playing hardest with girls I know will give their best right next to me. We win as a team, we lose as a team - no one player is more important than the other.

Calvary volleyball opened the door to not only making amazing friends but also to glorify Christ on the floor! One of my favorite things about volleyball at Calvary is the joy each person has for Christ. When you step on the floor with a group of girls who are there to glorify Christ, you have SO much fun! It is such a loving, caring environment with people who encourage you everyday.
