A strong first three quarters allowed the Warriors to get a lead and to hold onto it down the stretch run as the team picked up a win on Tuesday night defeating Manhattan Christian. With the win, the Warriors notched their first victory in 2022 as well as the first collegiate win for Coach Robby Bollinger.
“We were happy to get the win,” Warrior Head Coach Robby Bollinger said. “We were able to shoot 37 percent from the field while holding them to 30 percent. We really had to work hard for this win and had some key players step up for us tonight. We outrebounded them 51-42. We also were able to grab twelve assists to their eight.”
The Warriors were led by Katelyn Roach and Mikayla Jones with 16 points each. Katie McGee led the team with 15 rebounds with Leah Grady adding another ten.
