The Warriors started the season off with a strong performance as they competed against MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). “We started slow in the first two sets and made some adjustments for the line up in the last three and saw a lot more success,” Warrior Head Coach, Jojo Wilkes, said. “I feel like a preseason scrimmage gives you a lot of opportunities to see what works best for the team, and allows for changes in rotation and positions to see what’s most affective. Players were fulfilling their roles well by playing their positions well.” Having the freshman on campus come and cheer the team on brought lots of energy. Calvary University will start their regular season by hosting Kansas Christian University on August 22nd. Calvary fans are looking forward to a promising season.
