Women's Basketball Improves to 9-1, Defeating #4 Ranked Faith Eagles

Kansas City,

After winning all three games this past week, the women's basketball team brings their record to an impressive 9-1, continuing a seven-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, January 7, the Lady Warriors took on Kansas Christian College and came out the victor with a score of 62-41. Notably in the game, the Warriors sustained several injuries, which did not hinder their competitiveness but fueled them to continue and pull out the win over the Falcons.

Over the weekend, the women took on two Eagles teams, Faith Baptist Bible College and Emmaus University. The Warriors defeated the Faith Eagles on Friday night 53-46, stirring excitement for the coming weeks as Faith is currently ranked #4 in the nation in the NCCAA DII Women's Basketball Coaches Poll (12/17/24). On Saturday, the Warriors defeated the Emmaus Eagles 58-35 in a commanding win.

The Lady Warriors look ahead to Tuesday, where they will take on another top ten team, the #5 Ozark Christian College Ambassadors. Tip off is at 5:00 PM, January 14.
